Elizabeth Neuman - 3 owl tree

My focus is on birds of the Pacific Northwest in their natural environment. I carve and print my images using safety-kut block material and black ink on Rives BFK paper. Once the ink is dry I watercolor each print. Each piece is unique and thus labeled with E.V. for édition varié rather than numbered. I also have a collection of drypoints and etchings. These are printed in black ink and hand watercolored. The subject matter is birds and a collection of prints featuring individuals seen and drawn during a commute and collected in my Commuter Journals.
