Kathleen Baker Metalwork

I think about my work as a form of naturally occurring geometrics because I like the juxtaposition of strong, spare shapes with unexpectedly organic flourishes and elements. My designs are for those who have self-confidence and character. I want to inspire viewers to look and look again more closely. I hand fabricate my jewelry, typically working in a series using recurring patterns and themes and mixing precious metals with gemstones and pearls to create individual pieces and theme-based collections.
