Cody Blomberg

Cody Blomberg paints birds, animals, and people using acrylics and oils. He uses brush, palette knife, squeegee, and cheese cloth to capture the wonder and delight of his subjects.

Whether working from life or from photographs, Cody gravitates towards an impressionistic style of painting with the use of bold colors and energetic mark making. Occasionally a mash up of styles occurs with fantasy/surrealism and impressionism, blurring the lines of illustration and more traditional painting.
